Overrated Day

hi! how are you?
today is feb 14th also known as Valentine's Day.
based on history, it is a marked of the death of St Valentine however after several centuries, it's been known as a celebration of love.

love. specifically to couples-man and woman. what is love? everyone has his/her own definition of love. even my definition of love varies from time to time ;p

i guess V-day is too overrated as I walked across the mall or shop lots, the prices of flowers especially red roses is higher on V-day, so was other things that deemed 'romantic' like a box of chocolate, teddy bears etc.

the celebration of V-day to Muslims in Malaysia had its ups and downs. one time it is said to be OK next time it's NO-NO. (i told ya, this day is being overrated, even politician wants to talk about it!)

for me basically, we need to know what's right and what's wrong. we are expose to too many negativity that we hardly see the good in it. some celebrate V-day for the fun of giving, sharing and spreading the love like a gift to the unfortunate for example and others view it as a reason to contribute to amount of baby dumping at the end of the year. don't be a fool or slave to love! it is an emotion which you can control. be in control. abstinence!

i'm neither in nor against the celebration of V-day. as for me, V-day is just an excuse capitalist made to gain profits. imagine how much money the florists, restaurants, confectioners, traders made on that day itself when the price is higher than the usual. then again if there is no V-day, perhaps people will not have reasons to buy flowers at all, isn't it? V-day served as an escapism for the couple if they ever missed out each other's special day like birthday or anniversary.

let me asked you, if you truly love someone, you wouldn't need a reason to celebrate your love, do you?

one more thing, it's okay to celebrate V-day as long as you know your limit. moderation is the best way of life so don't overspent your hard earned cash on V-day itself, use your creativity.

write a poem. it seems more sincere that way than words on the card which all you need to do is signed at the bottom
make an effort to remember your anniversary&birthdays. marked it on the calendar.
surprise your spouse. not only on the V-day but on other ordinary day as well. i'm sure they will be thrilled and loves you more.
sharing is caring. share something valuables to you like a good books or your childhood teddy bear to others.
make everyday a celebration of love and you no longer need a reason to celebrate V-day in the future.

p/s:there's no restriction for you to only be romantic on V-day to your loves one, you can show your love to them at any given time of the days for the rest of your life ;D

Sorry, I'm Late

hi! how are you?
how many times we come across the people saying sorry for being late either for meeting, work, gathering, date or class? and how many times of a year do we actually say those words when we are late? plenty of time i must say because tardiness is part of our way of life. then to make it more juicy, we made up excuses or reasons why we are late-traffic jam being the no.1 reason why we are late!

there are specifically 4 reasons for impunctuality:-

Neo-Feudalism

false sense of superiority when we no longer feel ashamed or guilty for being late taking over somebody else's time waiting for us. take the high ranking people for example; be it in a company or politician. the event won't start until they come and usually, it is not awhile, boy, do they made us waiting! well, waiting for few minutes is fine but hours is just too much, don't you think? have respect for other people's time in order to make people respect yours! the same principle applies to friends and family gathering also.

Lack of planning

time planning seems like an alien. well, we can plan our money, time etc. why is it any differ with planning to avoid tardiness? for example you have a high school gathering this weekend at a hotel. plan which route will you take? what time should you leave the house? what is the alternative if you cannot drive straight away to the hotel? PLAN,PLAN,PLAN! it really helps!

We take on TOO MUCH

there's a saying "it is better to make 10 promises and keep 9, than to make 100 promises and keep 8" how did that happen? usually when we having problem of saying NO when someone asked us to do a favour. learned to say No sometimes to things you know you cannot do or do not have time to do when someone asked for your help. it's hard but you not only helping yourself but the person as well. remember one thing, you can't pleased everybody, you might as well just try to please yourself :p

Most people are not punctual

when asking people about time on their watch, they will give different time-be it late 5 minutes or early 10 minutes...the answers will be vary as there is no precise watch available in the world to tell us exactly what time is it. that's lead to impunctuality in ourselves especially those who bemoan tardiness. bad drivers are the first to say they drive well. it goods for the confidence though but don't overdo it or you might harm other road users and yourself.

so there you have it! the four reasons for impunctuality. why should we bother to change as most people are impunctual by nature! tardiness is an attitude. it can be change. the advantages of being punctual are:-

you get more out of each day
less stressed;planning your route to avoid traffic jams at peak hours
accomplish most of what you set out to do
indicator of a successful people and a developed nation ie Japan
gain self-respect and respect from the others

so, let's be the start and try to be punctual. wish sayonara to statement "Sorry, I'm Late" out of your mind :D

2 Best Friends, 1 Birthday

today is 6th February 2012.

it's by two dearest friends of mine birthday-Norliza Sharmin binti Zakaria and Zulaikha Kamarudeen :)

i met liza in 2002 and we become best friends until we lost contact in 2007. it is sad as she is the reason my passion for writing started. we often sent letters to each other, updating our life as we grow up. she helped me through high schools crisis and dilemma. the only picture i had of her is our class picture.

i just wish we can meet up someday, Allah know when but when we do, i'll make sure i never forgets to reply her letter ever again :'(

another good friend of mine is ika. we meet during asasi. to tell the truth, we actually met before that, my mom&sister recognize her at the petronas station when we had breakfast on the way to Uitm Kuantan. i didn't look at her as i thought "no way she's going to be my friend as looking at her girly-type appearance" it turns out, she becomes my roomates for 3 semester and eventually we become best friend :)

it's actually fun being friend with ika as she is the most honest person i ever known and she taught me to be frank about how i feel too! i'm more straight forward now because of her :D but most importantly, she had your back whenever you need her like the time in Kuantan. oh, memories~ and one more thing, always expect the unexpected from her!

still can't believe she plan my surprise 19th birthday party

anyway, have a merry happy birthday to two people who close to my heart and have a blast! thank you for not walking out of my life when i needed you.

Irritating Seh!

hi! how are you?
looking at the title, we can tell it's Singlish(singapore english)
so, in this post, let's talk about my 5-days IMPROMPTU trip to Johore&Singapore
why impromptu trip? well, you see i decided to tag along with my mom and sis at 1am on the day trip itself, so that's makes it impromptu trip to me! hahahaha ;D

we started our journey at 8am and arrived in Pasir Gudang at 12pm. we had lunch before accompanied my mom to her meeting there. imagine having waiting through a meeting which we thought would not take more than 4 hours but it did! but, who's complaining when we got to our Mak Teh's house in Gelang Patah, we got Ikan Cencaru for early dinner at 5pm! yes, it's an early dinner, indeed and i did not eat anything until the next morning even though we went out to Jusco Bukit Indah at 8pm and supper at 12am!

the next day, Mak Teh cooked us Asam Pedas Ayam! it tasted marvellous even though i never eat asam pedas ayam before :p hahaha....when the night falls, we went to Jusco Bukit Indah again to meet Ibu who just got there from Singapore. we had dinner at Jusco, another dinner at Hutan Bandar Restaurant (a little bit disappointed because Mama, abang Boboy, Nana, Kakak Adik and I had to sit separately from the others as we cannot negotiate to get the table from a group of guys) Irritating seh! after dinner, we decided to follow Ibu go back to Singapore, so we seek money exchange and surprisingly, i feel like a pauper after converting RM150, i only manage to got back S$ 61.70. it's not even half of my money o.0 when we got into singapore, Abang Boboy brought us to Al-Azhar Restaurant and mama ate this:-

on saturday, abang boboy took us to his workplace-Singapore Civil Defence. there we got a chance to be fire fighter and met his friends *wink wink*

at 12pm, we headed to Pasar Geylang Serai and had our lunch. later, we went to Vivo Shopping Mall which looks much like Queensbay in Penang :) we even relaxed on top of the mall overlooked Sentosa Island. abang boboy's girlfriend join us afterwards and we continue our journey to Masjid Sultan to buy souvenirs and we ate durians! at night, we watched a football match between Terengganu and Lions. being Malaysian, my sister and I can't helped it but to screamed GOAL when Terengganu scored one goal. imagine having seeing a match in Singapore and screaming for Malaysia..so kiasu~

on sunday, my mom, adik, nana and i went to USS! we had roti canai for breakfast and i chatted with a Chinese couple at the table (before they headed home, leaving the table to us) and my mom got praise for looking younger than her age, again! after breakfast, we took SMRT at Chinese Garden station headed towards USS :)

when we got there, the disneyland symptoms strikes me again! i was so excited! we plan our journey where we did not take so much picture at New York nor Hollywood but we headed straight to the ride. Ride first, picture later :P haha..our first ride of the day is Steven Spielberg's Lights Camera Action followed by Transformer's 3D Ride( which is the MOST AWESOME RIDE i ever been to) and Battlestar Galactica (a roller-coaster) where we become Cylon (legs hanging in the air) before transformed into Human(seated). after that, Mummy Revenge! i feel so dizzy after the ride @.@ 3 roller-coasters at one time! Have mercy la...

we cooled down by riding Treasure Hunter, so much so like Genting Highland's Antique Car ride. next, we played Canopy Flyer (hanging again but with much slower speed). in short, we managed to played all ride but two-Jurassic Park Rapid Adventure(because we refused to get wet) and Water World( we missed the showtime) we even witness a parade but nothing beats Disneyland!

oh ya! i been targeted for water 2 times that day, one by Marty during the Madagascar-A Crate Adventure and another one by penguins above during the parade >;)

we went back home to KL on mama's birthday :) we had so much fun but not as much as i had in Disneyland Hong Kong.

first thing that people will notice about yana would be her height! she's the tallest girl...opppsss...woman among all.

forgets what people said about yana...what do i think of her?

yana...first time i saw her was in 2009, when she was lost with mira at second room in our house at Uitm Kuantan. she wore white baju kurung if i'm not mistaken. later, we became roommates. for me, yana is an independent woman. she doesn't rely on other people, most of the time she gets all the things done by herself. she likes pink and she's a creative person. i still remember she decorate her black backpack with gold marker pen and it looks beautiful! she likes to tease(a lot!) and dares me to try something new which sometimes exciting and sometimes embarrassing~ i learn a lot actually from yana-from improvising, storage, business to law. she's sweet as she looks and i'm glad i know her and become one of her best friend :') thank you yana, for just being there for me and i love you.

You are the best!

can't believe it's been almost 3 years i'm in shah alam :D

anyway, 2011 is the definitely a colourful year for me :) so here's a bit and pieces of 2011 memories

hi! how are you?
last week is a rushing week as the Finals is just around the corner and A LOT of things need to be done but the most importantly is the Final Performance by Drama Club :p
i admit that i'm not the strongest character and it's pretty hard to be the HAPPY.
it seems funny but the truth is, i usually having hard time in getting into character but finally i managed to pulled it off with the help from them especially my teammates, Bfirst, Sya, Yus, Ima, Api and Fie plus the senior- Arif, Fik etc. and of course, my lecturer, AD and Sir Kamran keep telling me to be the feeling of Happiness instead of be happy as a person..
trust me, you will feel mentally, physically and emotionally drained after acting in absurd theater, EVERY SINGLE TIME!
oh, i almost forgot, special thanks to my family, housemates-fanie, yana, hanim, ika, coursemates-syazwani, yana anuar, lily and my brother,Ifkar for keeping up with my moods and emotions in potraying Miss Happy~

but of course, despite the stress and all, HKB 112 class was AWESOME indeed :)

i meet a lot of people from other faculty
my teammates and i are like family-we tease, laugh&support each other <3
i never realized there's so much talented people out there until i join Drama Club for this semester
and yeah, i'm going to missed everyone :')

18/12/11 was one of the best night of my life :D feels like on top of the world when i can deliver my character to the audience and AD said there's HUGE IMPROVEMENT on my character. (proud moment)
well, it is something i can be proud of despite the fact that i forgot my line while on stage! hahaha ;D
and i'm still coping to get out from the character, PRONTO! so that i can be more serious and focus on my finals ;p
so, i just want to take this opportunity to congratulates all-from reader's theater, shout, choral speakers, dramalogue, fie, absurd and physical team. it's a lifetime experience and good job everybody :)

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!

hi! how are you?
yesterday i had a major breakdown where i had a BAD day. so what? everybody had it once in awhile.
it all started when i got my first test result, i guess i'm the lowest mark as the highest person got to called upon last. no matter, the feelings got better during contract class, thanks to Madam Sheela for making me laugh, even a little. at 4pm, i had French class where we have Final Quiz. it was difficult than i expected that's what you get when you take french for granted(serve you right!) the worst is about to come as i had dinner and drop by at Speedy, i saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 already released and there is a gift box set!I WANT IT! but too bad the price is unreasonable RM 120 for a DVD+gift so, i have to K-I-V it first :'(
after arriving home, i had a long shower and think about my day. YES, it is frustrating to be the lowest in the class on the non-core subject and not be able to get HP gift box but i'm not going to let those stopping me from achieving my goals. 4 more weeks before FINAL. Wakey2....

last 2 days, my dad and i went on the roadtrip to KUANTAN and DUNGUN. 2 states in two days!
IT WAS AWESOME!
i had a chance to reminisce old memories at Uitm, ECM and Megamall.
i even dragged my dad to walk from Mega to ECM to shopping and YES we did spent a lot:- me on shopping and my dad on food
too bad we didn't have a chance to visit Mierah's house in Dungun and Teluk Chempedak :(
nevertheless, we had so much fun exploring since the road to Sg Lembing is under construction forcing us to us the alternative way
plus, i got a chance to see Real life turtles at Turtle Sanctuary Cherating(beside Club Med)

i had so much FUN! thanks abah :)

i just want to comment on seksualiti merdeka 2011. it is an annual sexuality rights festival. seksualiti merdeka aim is to gives freedom to be whether gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersexed, straight, asexual, pansexual or simply fabulous and not be oppressed by the society.

first and foremost, why people become gay? the research done by Paul Cameron an American psychologist and sex researcher laid down 3 main reasons:-

homosexual people are sexually permissive and experimental
homosexual behaviour is a mental illness, symptomatic of arrested development;ie poor familial relation during childhood or trauma
biological and holds that such desires are genetic or hormonal in origin

basically, homosexual is just a behaviour which can be change.

looking back to the basic, men and women were made as complementary to one another; they both need each other to feel happy and complete. look at Adam and Eve, Romeo and Juliet, and even our ancestors. we are here because of sexual intercourse between man and woman and not man+man or woman+woman.

some are confused with their identity especially those who happens to have both gender's private parts or what we called hermaphrodite(khunsa) and it is up to the parents responsibility to choose the gender of the child by observing their behavior. but that is a different issue altogether.

nowadays the homosexual had been vocal about their rights to practice as they feel they had been oppressed for centuries.

there was the story of people of the town of Sodom during Prophet Luth a.s time as the result of their homosexuality behaviour where an earthquake rocked the town, it was as if a mighty power had lifted the entire city and flung it down in one jolt and a storm of stones rained on the city. everyone and everything was destroyed. to read the whole story, click here

homosexuality had been a taboo subject where it is an offence and punishable by death even during roman empire time, holocaust during Nazi and others. it is simply unacceptable form of immoral behavior.

sexual interest is a matter of personal and it simply happen when one consented to be with another. however, being asian, we have custom that need to be preserve for future generation. it is disturbing enough to see heterosexual(straight) couples displaying their affection to each other openly. not all coming from the west is good and need to be impose in our country especially when the issue regards to morality and religion.

No religion supports homosexuality. period.

by supporting the rights of homosexuality, we eventually encourage others to be one. eventually it will be a chaos especially when the matters of family hereditary comes in.

homosexuality leads to many contagious disease like AIDS.

it is better that the matter of homosexuality be personal matter or interest rather than imposing law on them as this way we giving them chance for repentance rather than giving them rights that has small benefit to the society.

Chicken Leg

hi! how are you?
it's been awhile since my last post on this blog..

as the title of this post, i have to admit i'm prone to leg injury since i was little girl..
i might be clumsy or my leg lacked of frictional force on it :P

on the picture above is my biggest leg injury! i was 7 at that time and have to undergo operation :'( it also my first time i was admitted to the hospital... after the incident, i having difficulty to walk like normal person and it took me years to walk with confidence without slouch. i probably look like hunchback of notre dame for years~

13 years later, i got toenail injury as i told you in previous post. then recently, i sprained my right ankle AGAIN! why i said again? as i experienced it last two years when i was in first semester doing my foundation in Kuantan..same leg, same injury =.= however, this time around it is not so serious..Alhamdulillah~

i guess luck is by my side as i'm still survive till this day.

note to self: be extra careful to avoid further complication especially on the leg

Just Smile because the Pain will Eventually Go Away

hi! how are you?
as for me, not so good as the week started with a bleeding toenail :(
how on Earth did i get that?
one of the sliding door on my wardrobes slipped and fell on my poor feet. that's how severe it is as the sliding door is heavy(as claimed by my dad)
eventually i had to remove the nail..fret not as i've been given anesthetic and my toe was bandaged for the whole week until today.

now, my toe is bandage-free as the bleeding had stopped.
I just had to make sure NOBODY step on it or it will take longer time to heal...
i can tell that people around me are worried about my toe and i'm touched with their moral support. i know i will be walking around with naked toenail for quite some times now so i just have to be strong and faced it. now i'm glad i didn't take sports as my co-curricular activities :p

first week in second semester was fun as i was given responsibility to drive to class! YAHOO! first week of class is fun and let's hope the feeling is mutual throughout the semester :)
one more thing, i love scaring people with my broken toe's story, it gives me something to laugh about whenever i see their scared faces :p and i'm happy because it shows that they care :)

Five Days of Raya

i guess it's not too late to wish all of you Selamat Hari Raya :D

this year, my family and i went back to my dad's hometown, Kelantan and return home on the third day of raya :) we got to play bunga api with our niece, Ayuni :D

The Final Battle-Harry Potter vs Voldy :P

on the first day of raya, we stay at home and serve the guest in the afternoon and went raya at Mok Muda, Mok Ngah and Mek Mas place where we met again Awe Bodo, a talking bird!

on the second day of raya, we went raya at Ayah Ipin's&Mok Teh's house at Kubang Kerian where i play with cute Zhafran(his picture is my fb's default picture!);D

on the third, we went back home with Mok. luckily we did not have to face traffic jam along the way :) we dropped Mok at Mak Ngah's house in Klang before headed home and celebrated Adik's birthday at Pappa Rich!

the next day, Kak Ida and her family(Abang Syukri, Aiman, Wafa and Sarah) dropped by at our house together with Mok. I tought Aiman how to make an origami rabbit! later that day, Mok taught me how to make an origami blow box!

on the fifth Syawal, my sister and I held an Open House and invited our friends. even though only 6 of them altogether turn up at the open house, it was fun as we talked non-stop (especially among my friends!) it's a coincidence we wear the same colour :p

no matter where you are you cannot deny that K-Pop sensation is everywhere even on your regular local radio station or television. the K-Pop waves is phenomenal and thanks to the power of the INTERNET. most K-Pop fans started to listen to K-Pop on the Net. charting as Second music sensation in the world after America, it is truly amazing :) so how it all started?

every band has different genre of songs and with only 3 main agency(SM, JYP&YG) to decide which songs to be sang by which group. it is a meticulous process which provide jobs for many people. the song must suit the band personality to ensure success. there's a HOOK(repeated chorus) in every song to get the listener hooked up!

22% like K-Pop because of the DANCE. the chereographer of each band is responsible for creating dance routines that blend well with the songs. the K-Pop dance is also not so difficult to follow thus the enjoyment of the song is added with the fans ability to dance to the music :D

13% like K-Pop because of the VISUAL APPEARENCE which include fashion. the music video and the photoshooting sessions was taken seriously by the agency because this is where the image of the band was potrayed.

K-Pop not only promoting their music but the Korean culture as well such as Korean language and taekwando to the world. K-Pop is making waves in the world's music industry without sacrificing their culture richness and it is something that should be proud of.

I'm no K-Pop fan, i just happen to watched KBS Special on KBS World, today and summarize from what i've saw :D

Assalammualaikum.hi! how are you?
for the past 3 days of ramadhan i'm working on translating a HSE handbook.
for those who don't know what HSE means please put your hands up..because i never knew about it either at first.. HSE is a short form for Health, Safety and Environment :)
so my job as the translator pretty much translating the words from English to Bahasa Malaysia...

it might seems like an easy job at first
but it's not as i have to come across technical words like scaffolding, piling, hot works and staying green&alive at home(which is one of the most difficult one to translate!)
anyway, i got help from citcat.com which provide a translation from english-BM mostly direct translation but at least i got the term right! hahaha ;D

i also want to thank my Encik Pelanduk(my English-Malay dictionary) a birthday gift from my Mak

lastly i want to thank Nasa for accompanying me throughout the night, finishing the book.
we do chat a lot of stuffs last night :D

so now, i can concentrate on the real meaning of Ramadhan for the next 26 days

“Apabila saya terlibat dengan kerja dakwah, barulah saya tahu saya telah banyak melakukan zina hati,” kata seorang pemuda.

“Itulah dulu pun saya ada kekasih, dan kami saling cinta menyintai dan merancang untuk berkahwin apabila sampai masanya, tapi apabila saya tahu hubungan saya dengan dia tu menyebabkan saya dan dia terjebak dengan zina hati maka saya putuskan”

Seringkali saya mendengar kata-kata seperti itu keluar melalui kata-kata atau tulisan daripada mereka yang melibatkan diri dengan gerak kerja persatuan-persatuan Islam atau kerja-kerja dakwah remaja.

Pada mulanya saya buat tak kisah atau dengan kata lain buat tak pot kerana saya menganggap kes-kes itu sebagai kes terpencil yang biasanya berlaku di zaman sekolah menengah. Biasalah tu budak-budak sekolah yang baru dalam proses pra-matang kepada matang, baru nak up orang kata, pedulikanlah.

Tapi apabila ada pelajar di peringkat universiti yang mengeluarkan kenyataan-kenyataan mirip sebegitu, saya mula tertanya-tanya dan bersyak wasangka, “eh takkanlah pelajar universiti yang bakal keluar sebagai pemimpin masyarakat pun tak faham-faham lagi, mustahillah”.

Tapi ternyata, sangkaan saya itu meleset sama sekali. Mimpi buruk melanda diri setelah melancong ke laman-laman web internet yang mempromosikan keislamikkan mereka. Saya terkejut apabila mendapati ketempangan yang cukup serius dalam memahami apa yang diistilahkan sebagai zina hati.

MAKSUD ZINA HATI DAN ZINA KECIL YANG LAIN

Sabda Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam:

(إِنَّ اللهَ كَتَبَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ الزِّنَا أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ لاَ مَحَالَةَ، فَزِنَا الْعَيْنِ النَّظَرُ، وَزِنَا اللِّسَانِ الْمَنْطِقُ، وَالنَّفْسُ تَمَنَّى وَتَشْتَهِي، وَالْفَرْجُ يُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ وَيُكَذِّبُهُ). رواه البخارى (6/2438، رقم 6238)، ومسلم (4/2046، رقم 2657)، وأبو داود (2/246، رقم 2152)، والبيهقى فى شعب الإيمان (4/365، رقم 5428).

وفي رواية مسلم: (كُتِبَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ نَصِيبُهُ مِنْ الزِّنَا مُدْرِكٌ ذَلِكَ لَا مَحَالَةَ فَالْعَيْنَانِ زِنَاهُمَا النَّظَرُ وَالْأُذُنَانِ زِنَاهُمَا الِاسْتِمَاعُ وَاللِّسَانُ زِنَاهُ الْكَلَامُ وَالْيَدُ زِنَاهَا الْبَطْشُ وَالرِّجْلُ زِنَاهَا الْخُطَا وَالْقَلْبُ يَهْوَى وَيَتَمَنَّى وَيُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ الْفَرْجُ وَيُكَذِّبُهُ).Maksudnya: (Sesungguhnya Allah mencatatkan bahagian zina yang tidak dapat tidak berlaku ke atas anak-anak Adam. Zina mata itu adalah pandangan, zina lidah itu adalah ucapan, nafsu mengharap dan berkeinginan, dan kemaluan itu mengiyakan atau mendustakannya). Hadith riwayat Bukhari (6/2438, no 6238), Muslim (4/2046, no 2657), Abu Daud (2/246, no 2152), dan Imam Baihaqi dalam Shu’ab Iman (4/365, no 5428).

Dan dalam riwayat Imam Muslim: (Sesungguhnya Allah mencatatkan bahagian zina yang tidak dapat tidak berlaku ke atas anak-anak Adam. Mata itu zinanya pandangan, telinga itu zinanya mendengar, lidah itu zinanya ucapan, tangan itu zina melakukan kekerasan, kaki itu zinanya langkah, dan hati itu mengharap dan berkeinginan, dan mengiyakannya kemaluan atau mendustakannya)

Hadith pertama menggunakan istilah zina nafsu, manakala hadith yang kedua pula menggunakan istilah zina hati. Hadith inilah yang menjadi hujah tentang wujudnya zina yang dinamakan dengan zina hati dan tidak syak lagi hadithnya adalah hadith yang sahih.

Tidak dipertikaikan kewujudan istilah zina hati dan asasnya dalam Islam, tetapi apa yang dipertikaikan adalah kegagalan ramai daripada kalangan mereka yang bercakap tentangnya untuk mengupasnya secara ilmiyyah sehingga adakalanya membuatkan remaja dan pemuda salah faham yang seterusnya menyebabkan berlakunya pemikiran yang tempang dalam beragama.

Apakah sebenarnya yang dimaksudkan dengan zina hati? Adakah jatuh cinta kepada seseorang itu dianggap zina hati? Adakah teringatkan seseorang itu zina hati? Mungkin sebahagian daripada kita akan menjawab: “Ya, itulah zina hati”. Apabila ditanya lagi mengapa itu zina hati? Jawab mereka: “Kerana kita mengingati seseorang yang ajnabi (bukan mahram) yang tidak halal buat kita”!!!

Kalau anda meletakkan sebab pengharamannya adalah kerana dia ajnabi tidak halal bagi kita, bagaimana anda mahu menafsirkan firman Allah dalam Al-Qur’an tentang Sahabat Nabi yang teringatkan perempuan ajnabiyyah yang tidak halal buatnya?

Firman Allah dalam Surah Al-Baqarah, ayat ke-235:

عَلِمَ اللَّهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُونَهُنَّ وَلَكِنْ لا تُوَاعِدُوهُنَّ سِرّاً إِلَّا أَنْ تَقُولُوا قَوْلاً مَعْرُوفاً

Dalam ayat ini dan ayat sebelumnya, menceritakan tentang عدة / iddah (tempoh suci) perempuan yang bercerai dengan suaminya. Kemudian ada lelaki ajnabi yang mengintai-intai peluang untuk melamar perempuan ini. Lalu Allah berfirman ((Allah Maha Mengetahui bahawa kamu akan mengingati perempuan tersebut, tetapi jangan kamu berjumpa dengan perempuan itu secara rahsia kecuali dengan berkata-kata perkara yang baik.

Syed Qutb dalam tafsirnya berkata: “Dan Allah telah mengharuskannya kerana itu berkaitan dengan kecenderungan fitrah yang halal pada asalnya, harus pada zatnya … dan Islam itu tidak menghancurkan kecenderungan fitrah tetapi membajainya, dan tidak menekan naluri kemanusiaan tetapi mengawalnya. (Rujuk Fi zilali Qur’an oleh Syed Qutb, jilid 1, m/s 238).

Bukankah perempuan yang baru berpisah dengan suaminya merupakan perempuan ajnabiyyah kepada lelaki lain yang mahu melamarnya??? Tapi mengapa Allah langsung tidak mengatakan kepada lelaki ajnabi itu tak boleh mengingati perempuan tetapi hanya berpada dengan berkata (Allah Maha Mengetahui bahawa kamu akan mengingati perempuan tersebut tetapi jangan kamu berjumpa dengan dia secara rahsia).

Justeru apa yang dapat difahamai daripada ayat tersebut adalah: Tiada masalah dalam mengingati perempuan tersebut, tapi jangan fikir nak buat yang bukan-bukan yang bertentangan dengan syarak’. Itulah apa yang sepatutnya difahami daripada firman Allah tersebut.

Kalau mengingati perempuan yang ajnabiyyah itu zina hati, tentunya Allah melarang para sahabat daripada mengingati perempuan, tetapi Allah sendiri tidak melarang bahkan memberi izin.

Justeru, yang dimaksudkan dengan zina hati itu adalah hati yang menaruh niat untuk berzina, menikmati hubungan persetubuhan luar nikah. Itu yang dimaksudkan dengan zina hati. Rujuk kembali konteks hadith berkaitan zina hati secara keseluruhan. Tidakkah di pengakhiran hadith tersebut Nabi ada menyebut:

وَالْفَرْجُ يُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ وَيُكَذِّبُهُ

Maksudnya: (dan kemaluan itu mengiyakan atau mendustakannya). Bermakna semua perkara daripada tangan, kaki, telinga, mata, lidah, hati yang menuju ke arah persetubuhan haram barulah dipanggil dengan zina. Sebab itu disebut di pengakhiran hadith (Kemaluan itu yang akan menentukan berlaku atau tidak berlakunya zina).

Sebab itu Ibnu Mas’ud menambah dengan katanya:

"فإن صدقه بفرجه كان زانيا وإلا فهو اللمم" أخرجه البيهقي في شعب الإيمان (5/393، رقم 7060

Maksudnya: “Jika dia mengiyakannya (kehendak berzina) dengan kemaluannya maka dia menjadi penzina, jika tidak maka itu adalah Al-Lamam (dosa kecil)”. Dikeluarkan oleh Imam Baihaqi dalam kitabnya Shu’abul Iman (5/393, no 7060).

Jadi, zina kecil yang disebutkan itu adalah yang mengarah pada hubungan kelamin luar nikah. Oleh itu, melihat bukan mahram bukanlah serta-merta boleh digolongkan sebagai zina mata. Yang tergolong “zina mata” adalah pandangan yang menggoda dan penuh syahwat.

Dengan itu juga, menyampaikan kata-kata mesra kepada bukan mahram bukanlah semestinya tergolong sebagai “zina lisan”. Yang tergolong sebagai “zina lisan” adalah kata-kata pujuk rayu dan godaan kepada nafsu berahi.

Begitu juga halnya dalam masalah mengingati atau merindukan si dia atau pun merasakan getaran di hati ketika memikirkan si dia, bukanlah serta merta boleh tergolong sebagai “zina hati”. Pengertian “zina hati” adalah mengharap dan menginginkan kepada persetubuhan luar nikah sebagai memenuhi syahwat.

EKSTREMIS DI DALAM ISU ZINA HATI

“Melihat perempuan itu haram”

“Mendengar suara perempuan itu haram”

“Mengingati bayangan perempuan itu haram”

“Semua itu adalah zina”

Biasa mendengar klausa-klausa kata sebegitu?...hehe. Banyak kali dengar kan? Mungkin agaknya mereka mahu menjadikan perempuan itu sebagai makhluk haram di atas planet bumi ini, dan bagi perempuan pula mereka mahu menjadikan makhluk lelaki sebagai makhluk haram di atas planet bumi ini.

Sampai begitu sekalikah pandangan anda tentang pengharaman segala yang datang daripada perempuan atau segala yang datang daripada lelaki? Sedangkan khinzir pun tidak sampai ke tahap itu diharamkan dalam Al-Qur’an. Yang hanya diharamkan adalah makan dagingnya sahaja.

Apakah sebenarnya pengharaman dalam masalah perhubungan antara lelaki dan perempuan? Adakah perempuan itu haram semata-mata kerana dirinya حرام لذاته / haram lizatihi, atau haram kerana perkara luaran lain حرام لغيره / haram lighairihi?

Melihat perempuan itu haram sebab apa? Adakah semata-mata pandangan kepada perempuan itu haram atau pandangan itu haram disebabkan unsur luaran lain?

Tentunya pandangan yang diharamkan adalah pandangan yang disertai dengan syahwat, pandangan yang menggoda dan bernafsu. Itulah sebab kepada pengharaman pandangan bukan semata-mata kerana pandangan biasa.

Suara perempuan itu haram sebab apa? Adakah semata-mata suara kepada perempuan itu haram atau suara itu haram disebabkan unsur luaran lain?

Tentunya suara yang diharamkan adalah suara yang dilunakkan untuk menarik perhatian, suara manja mendodoi, suara-suara gedik. Suara sebegitulah yang diharamkan bukan semata-mata suara biasa.

Mengingati perempuan itu? Adakah semata-mata ingat kepada perempuan itu haram atau ingatan itu haram disebabkan unsur luaran lain?

Tentunya ingatan yang diharamkan adalah ingatan yang membayangkan keseksian susuk tubuh perempuan, membayangkan untuk bersetubuh dengan perempuan dan bayangan yang membangkitkan berahi. Ingatan dan bayangan sebegitulah yang diharamkan bukan semata-mata ingatan biasa.

Itulah hal-hal yang dipanggil zina kecil. Pengakhiran yang menentukannya adalah kemaluannya sama ada menjebakkannya ke kancah perzinaan hakiki atau tidak.

SEJAUH MANA DOSA ZINA TANGAN, KAKI, TELINGA, MATA, LIDAH, HATI?

Ibnu Mas’ud mengatakan bahawa:

"فإن صدقه بفرجه كان زانيا وإلا فهو اللمم" أخرجه البيهقي في شعب الإيمان (5/393، رقم 7060

Kata Ibnu Abbas pula:

"مَا رَأَيْتُ شَيْئًا أَشْبَهَ بِاللَّمَمِ مِمَّا قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ عَن النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: (إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كَتَبَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ حَظَّهُ مِنْ الزِّنَا أَدْرَكَهُ لَا مَحَالَةَ وَزِنَا الْعَيْنِ النَّظَرُ وَزِنَا اللِّسَانِ النُّطْقُ وَالنَّفْسُ تَمَنَّى وَتَشْتَهِي وَالْفَرْجُ يُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ أَوْ يُكَذِّبُهُ)". رواه البخاري (8/67، رقم 5774) ومسلم (8/52، رقم 4801).

“Aku tidak melihat sesuatu yang lebih menyerupai Al-Lamam itu kecuali daripada kata-kata Abu Hurairah daripada Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (Sesungguhnya Allah mencatatkan bahagian zina yang tidak dapat tidak berlaku ke atas anak-anak Adam. Zina mata itu adalah pandangan, zina lidah itu adalah ucapan, nafsu mengharap dan berkeinginan, dan kemaluan itu mengiyakan atau mendustakannya)”. Riwayat Imam Bukhari (8/67, no 5774), dan Imam Muslim (8/52, no 4801).

Apa yang dimaksudkan dengan Al-Lamam??? Al-Lamam bermaksud dosa kecil yang tidak akan selamat daripadanya kecuali mereka yang dilindungi dan dijaga oleh Allah. Ibnu Mas’ud, Abu Said, Huzaifah, dan Masruq berpendapat bahawa: Al-Lamam itu ialah selain daripada bersetubuh, sama ada ciuman, sentuhan, pandangan, dan baringan. (Rujuk Tafsir Al-Qurthubi, jilid 17, m/s 106, cetakan Dar Alamil kutub).

Perkataan Al-Lamam ini disebut dalam firman Allah dalam Al-Qur’an, Surah An-Najm , ayat ke-32 :

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسَاءُوا بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا بِالْحُسْنَى

(31) الَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ إِلَّا اللَّمَمَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَاسِعُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ ......

Maksudnya: Dan bagi Allah segala yang di langit dan di bumi, supaya dia membalas mereka yang berbuat buruk dengan apa yang mereka kerjakan, dan membalas mereka yang baik dengan kebaikan. Mereka yang menjauhi dosa-dosa besar dan perkara-perkara keji kecuali Al-lamam, Sesungguhnya Tuhan kamu Maha Luas keampunannya…

Contoh daripada hadith ini mungkin boleh membantu soal pengampunan dosa Al-Lamam:

نَّ رُجلا أصَابَ من امرأَةٍ قُبْلَة، فأتَى النبيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فذكر ذلك له، فَنزلت ((وأَقِمِ الصَّلاةَ طَرَفَيِ النَّهارِ وَزُلَفا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، إنَّ الْحَسَناتِ يُذْهِبْنَ السَيِّئاتِ ذلكَ ذِكْرى لِلذَّاكِرين)) [ هود : 116]. فقال الرجل : يا رسول اللّه، أَلِيَ هذه ؟ قال: «لمنْ عمل بها من أُمَّتي». أخرجه البخاري (1/140)، ومسلم (8/101).

Maksudnya: Seorang lelaki telah mencium seorang perempuan, lalu dia datang bertemu Nabi dan menceritakan perkara itu kepada Nabi”. Lalu turunlah ayat ((Dan dirikanlah solat pada sebahagian hari dan hujung malam, sesungguhnya kebaikan itu akan menghapuskan keburukan, itu adalah ingatan kepada mereka yang mengingati)) [Surah Hud, ayat ke-116]. Lalu lelaki tersebut berkata: “Wahai Rasulullah, adakah bagiku (sahaja) hal ini? Sabda Nabi: (Bahkan bagi orang melakukannya daripada umatku). Riwayat Imam Bukhari (1/140) dan Imam Muslim (8/101).

Lelaki tersebut telah melakukan zina kecil, iaitu mencium seorang perempuan bukan mahram. Bagaimana untuknya menghapuskan dosa zina kecil tersebut? Jawabnya adalah dengan berbuat kebaikan, insyaAllah kebaikan yang dibuat itu akan menghapuskan dosa yang dilakukan.

APA HUKUM BERCINTA?

Pertamanya, apa maksud bercinta itu? Adakah maksudnya memiliki dan berkongsi perasaan cinta antara lelaki dan perempuan? Atau maksudnya keluar berdua-duaan dan bermesra dengan jalan berpimpin tangan dan segala aktiviti lain?

Saya rasa semua bersetuju bahawa kalau maksudnya keluar berdua-duaan dan bermesra dengan jalan berpimpin tangan dan segala aktiviti lain maka saya kira semua daripada kita akan bersetuju tentang keharamannya.

Tetapi kalau maksudnya, memiliki dan berkongsi perasaan cinta antara lelaki dan perempuan, apakah juga termasuk dalam perkara yang haram? Apakah yang salahnya di situ? Mungkin ada yang akan menjawab, tak boleh, kerana bercinta sebelum kahwin itu akan mengundang dosa dengan melakukan perkara-perkara tak baik.

Baik kalau begitu, bercinta itu tidak haram pada asalnya tetapi bertukar menjadi haram kerana tidak mematuhi batas-batas yang dibenarkan. Pendek kata, pengharaman itu berlaku bukan pada perasaan tersebut tetapi pada perkara luar. Atau dengan bahasa usul Fiqhnya cinta itu bukannya حرام لذاته / haram lizatihi, tetapi bertukar menjadi حرام لغيره / haram lighairihi kerana perkara lain.

Bermakna selagi mana batas-batas pergaulannya terjaga maka cinta itu tiada sebab dan alasan untuk diharamkan.

Justeru, tidak sepatutnya wujud antara kita yang semudah-mudahnya mahu menghukum mereka yang menyimpan perasaan cinta antara satu sama lain itu sebagai haram kerana perasaan cinta itu adalah fitrah manusia yang suci. Hanya apabila batas-batas pergaulan dilanggar barulah hukumnya bertukar menjadi haram.

Makan daging lembu itu adalah halal, tetapi makan daging lembu yang dicuri adalah haram, bukan kerana daging itu, tetapi kerana masalah curi. Bagi menghalalkan kembali daging tersebut, bayar sahaja wang harga daging kepada tuan punyanya.

Begitu juga dengan cinta. Menyimpan dan berkongsi perasaan cinta dengan bukan mahram itu adalah satu perkara fitrah dan diharuskan dalam agama, tetapi apabila perasaan itu disertai dengan kehendak untuk persetubuhan haram (zina), maka diharamkan, bukan kerana perasaan tersebut tetapi kerana niat untuk persetubuhan haram tersebut. Justeru, bagi menghalalkan kembali hubungan cinta yang terjalin, perkara-perkara haram yang timbul perlu dibuang.

Memiliki dan berkongsi perasaan cinta ini yang halal ini diperakui oleh Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam dalam sebuah hadith yang diriwayatkan oleh Ibnu Abbas:

عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما أن رجلاً قال: "يا رسول الله في حجري يتيمة قد خطبها رجل موسر ورجل معدم، فنحن نحب الموسر وهي تحب المعدم، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: (لم نر للمتحابين غير النكاح)". أخرجه ابن ماجه (1/593، رقم 1847)، والطبرانى (11/17، رقم 10895)، والحاكم (2/174، رقم 2677) وقال: صحيح على شرط مسلم، والبيهقى (7/78، رقم 13231).

Maksudnya: Daripada Ibnu Abbas, bahawa seorang lelaki berkata kepada Nabi: “Wahai Rasulullah, aku ada memelihara seorang anak yatim perempuan. Dia dilamar oleh orang kaya dan orang miskin. Kami suka kalau dia memilih yang kaya, tetapi dia cinta kepada yang miskin. Maka berkata Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam: (Kami tidak melihat perkara yang sesuai bagi orang yang saling menyintai itu kecuali kahwin)”. Hadith diriwayatkan oleh Ibnu Majah (1/593, no 1874), At-Tabarani (11/17, no 10895), Al-Hakim (2/174, no 2677) dan berkata bahawa “hadith ini sahih mengikut syarat Imam Muslim”, dan Imam Baihaqi (7/78, no 13231).

Nabi langsung tidak mencela perasaan cinta yang dimiliki anak yatim perempuan tersebut sebelum berkahwin. Nabi hanya berkata bahawa perkara yang sesuai kepada orang yang saling menyintai itu adalah kahwin.

Hadith seterusnya berkenaan cinta Mughith kepada Barirah:

عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ زَوْجَ بَرِيرَةَ كَانَ عَبْدًا يُقَالُ لَهُ مُغِيثٌ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَطُوفُ خَلْفَهَا يَبْكِي وَدُمُوعُهُ تَسِيلُ عَلَى لِحْيَتِهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعبَّاسٍ: يَا عَبَّاسُ، أَلَا تَعْجَبُ مِنْ حُبِّ مُغِيثٍ بَرِيرَةَ وَمِنْ بُغْضِ بَرِيرَةَ مُغِيثًا). فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: (لَوْ رَاجَعْتِهِ). قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تَأْمُرُنِي؟ قَالَ: (إِنَّمَا أَنَا أَشْفَعُ) قَالَتْ: لَا حَاجَةَ لِي فِيهِ. أخرجه البخارى (5/2023، رقم 4979)، وأبوداود (2/270، رقم 2231)، والنسائى (8/245، رقم 5417)، وابن ماجه (1/671، رقم 2075)، وأخرجه أيضًا ابن حبان (10/96، رقم 4273).

Maksudnya: Daripada Ibnu Abbas (dia berkata): “(Bekas) Suami Barirah adalah seorang hamba dipanggil Mughith. Seolah-olah aku melihatnya sekarang mengekori belakang Barirah dengan bercucuran air mata atas janggutnya. Nabi lalu berkata kepada Abbas: (Wahai Abbas, tidakkah engkau takjub dengan kecintaan Mughitgh kepada Barirah, dan kebencian Barirah kepada Mughith?. Kata Nabi kepada Barirah: (Kalaulah kamu dapat kembali kepadanya). Barirah lalu berkata: “Wahai Rasulullah, adakah kamu memerintahkan aku? Nabi berkata: (Aku hanya menjadi juru runding). Barirah berkata: “Aku tak punya hajat pada Mughith”. Hadith riwayat Imam Bukhari (5/2023, no 4979), Abu Daud (2/270, no 2231), Imam An-Nasa’I (8/245, no 5417), Ibnu Majah (1/671, no 2075), juga Ibnu Hibban (10/96, no 4273).

Apa yang dapat difahami daripada hadith ini adalah:

1) Nabi tidak pernah melarang Mughith daripada terus mencintai Barirah walaupun Barirah telah menjadi ajnabiyyah buatnya.

2) Nabi bahkan mengambil inisiatif bagi melihat cinta itu berjaya dengan memujuk Barirah supaya kembali kepada Mughith, tetapi apakan daya Barirah tetap menolak.

3)Nabi tidak memberikan sebarang komen terhadap Mughith yang setia mengekori Barirah untuk memujuknya. Bahkan Nabi bersabda kepada Abbas: (Tidakkah engkau takjub dengan kecintaan Mughitgh kepada Barirah, dan kebencian Barirah kepada Mughith?)

Lihat bagaimana ajaran Islam yang bersifat sesuai dengan realiti kehidupan berdepan dengan masalah manusia. Sayangnya ajaran Islam yang bersifat realistik dan meraikan fitrah manusia ini, dicemarkan oleh sebahagian daripada kita yang terlampau bersemangat dalam membasmi masalah gejala sosial, sehingga dalam sedar atau tidak sedar mereka turut membasmi fitrah manusia dan menjadikan ajaran Islam seolah-olah hanya merupakan fantasi kehidupan yang tidak pernah wujud.

Islam datang bukan untuk berkata: “Jangan menyintai dan buang perasaan cinta itu”, tetapi datang dengan mengajarkan kita bahawa andainya kamu jatuh cinta, maka barhati-hatilah agar cinta itu tidak membuatkan kamu terpesong daripada kebenaran.

Islam juga datang bukan untuk mengatakan kepada kita: “Jangan kamu membenci sesama kamu”, tetapi datang untuk mengajarkan andainya kamu membenci seseorang maka biarlah berpada-pada jangan sampai membutakan kamu daripada kebenaran.

Jatuh cinta adalah perkara yang tidak mampu dikawal, hal itu terletak pada kuasa Allah dan Allah tidak akan menzalimi hambaNya dengan membebankan mereka dengan perkara-perkara yang tidak mereka mampu melakukannya. Masalah yang diperbahaskan dalam ilmu usul fiqh sebagai التكليف بما لا يطاق / Attaklif bima la yutaq.

Sedangkan Nabi sendiri pun meminta pengecualian daripada Allah dalam urusan berlaku adil antara isterinya dalam perkara yang melibatkan hati dan perasaan.

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْسِمُ بَيْنَ نِسَائِهِ فَيَعْدِلُ، وَيَقُولُ: (اللَّهُمَّ هَذِهِ قِسْمَتِي فِيمَا أَمْلِكُ فَلَا تَلُمْنِي فِيمَا تَمْلِكُ وَلَا أَمْلِكُ). قال الترمذي: إِنَّمَا يَعْنِي بِهِ الْحُبَّ وَالْمَوَدَّةَ كَذَا فَسَّرَهُ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ. أخرجه الترمذي (1140)، وأبو داود (2134)، والنسائي (7/63).

Maksudnya: “Daripada Aisyah bahawa Nabi membahagikan antara isteri-isterinya dengan adil dan dia berkata: (Ya Allah, ini adalah pembahagian aku daripada apa yang aku miliki, janganlah Engkau mencela aku pada perkara yang Engkau miliki tapi tidak aku miliki). Berkata Imam Tirmizi: Sesungguhnya yang dimaksudkan itu adalah perasaan cinta dan sayang sebagaimana tafsiran ahli ilmu. Hadith dikeluarkan oleh Imam Tirmizi (1140), Imam Abu Daud (2134), dan Imam Nasa’I (7/63).

Jelas melalui hadith tersebut bahawa perasaan cinta dan sayang tidak mampu dikawal oleh manusia. Mustahil bagi seorang lelaki yang beristeri empat contohnya mahu berlaku adil terhadap isteri-isterinya dalam soal hati dan perasaan. Sebab itu Nabi sendiri memohon kepada Allah supaya tidak mencelanya pada perkara yang tidak dimiliki olehnya dan tidak termampu baginya untuk melakukan.

Hal sebegini disedari dengan baik oleh para sahabat. Dalam suatu kisah yang melibatkan Sayyidina Umar sendiri diceritakan bahawa telah datang kepadanya seorang lelaki dan berkata: “Wahai Amirul Mukminin, sesungguhnya aku telah melihat seorang perempuan lalu aku jatuh cinta kepadanya”. Lalu Sayyidina Umar Bin Khattab berkata: “Itu adalah perkara yang tidak mampu dikawal”. Rujuk Al-Jawab Al-Kafi oleh Ibnul Qayyim, m/s 164, cetakan Darul Kutubil Ilmiyyah.

Hal ini berlaku kerana sememangnya manusia itu akan mudah jatuh cinta kepada sesiapa yang berkongsi keserasian dengannya, bak sabda Nabi dalam sebuah hadith:

الأرواح جنود مجندة فما تعارف منها ائتلف وما تناكر منها اختلف. أخرجه البخارى (3/1213، رقم 3158).

Maksudnya: (Roh-roh itu adalah ibarat tentera yang saling berpasangan, mana-mana roh yang secocok maka roh-roh itu akan bersatu, mana-mana roh yang tak secocok maka roh-roh itu akan berselisih). Dikeluarkan oleh Imam Bukhari (3/1213, no 3158).

CONTOH-CONTOH KEKELIRUAN

1) "Astaghfirullahalazim! Apa yang telah aku lakukan? Bukankah berhubung dengan berlainan mahram sehingga membibitkan perasaan cinta itu HARAM berdosa"

Komen saya: Alangkah jahilnya. Bagaimana mungkin perasaan cinta yang timbul dalam hati itu dianggap haram dan berdosa???

2) Zinanya hati ini berlaku apabila hati kita menginginkan sesuatu yang haram bagi kita secara berlebih-lebihan. Sebagai contoh, keinginan itu seperti ingin dirindui, dicintai, dibelai, mengingati si dia lebih daripada kita mengingati Tuhan.

Komen saya: Masih gagal memahami maksud zina hati dengan baik. Yang pertama katanya zina hati adalah: Menginginkan perkara haram secara berlebihan. Kalau begitu, menginginkan perkara haram secara tak berlebihan tu kira oklah ya???

Yang kedua, contoh yang diberikan itu satu pun tidak termasuk dalam zina hati, hal-hal itu bukan termasuk dalam bab zina hati, tetapi termasuk dalam bab lagho dan melakukan perkara yang harus dengan berlebihan.

3) Seorang lelaki teringatkan perempuan, itu zina hati kan? Saya pun kurang jelas dgn konsep zina hati ni. Jadi maknanye kalau teringat saja kat bukan mahram kite tu dah kira zina ya? Satu lagi, lelaki tersebut sahaja yg berdosa atau pun keduanya?

Komen saya: Lelaki ingatkan perempuan itu zina hati? Perempuan ingatkan lelaki zina hati? Heheh… luasnya skop. Kalau macam tu, lelaki lepas ni janganlah ingat kepada ustazah kat sekolah, perempuan pula jangan ingatkan ustaz kat sekolah. Itu semua zina hati tu, berdosa tau tak…hehe. Come on lah, sudahlah maksud zina hati itu pun tak faham, mudah-mudah sahaja memberi pandangan.

Adapun soal siapa yang berdosa dalam hal ini, jawabnya tiada sesiapa yang berdosa baik lelaki mahupun perempuan kerana itu bukan zina hati.

4) Saya ada kemusykilan di sini. Seandainya pasangan ini sudah berniat untuk berkahwin, adakah rindu antara mreka juga dikatakan zina hati?

Maka menjawablah seorang ustazah: “Yap!! selagi belum berkahwin”.

Komen saya: Soalannya bagus. Tetapi jawapan yang diberikan oleh ustazah itu cukup mengecewakan. Ustazah, tolonglah fahami maksud zina hati itu dengan baik sebelum memberikan jawapan. Boleh ustazah?

5) Dalam tak sedar, kita boleh melakukan zina. Benda yang kita tak nampak, tapi dosa besar. Dalam diam, kita dah lakukan zina. Bukan dari luaran, tapi dalaman. Astghfirullahala'zim. Kita sekarang terlalu terdedah dengan benda-benda yang lagho. Lupa mengingati Allah.

Komen saya: Dosa besar??? Sejak bila pula zina tangan, kaki, mata, mulut, hati itu tergolong dalam dosa besar??? Telah saya jelaskan bahawa itu semua termasuk dalam kategori dosa kecil yang disebut sebagai Al-Lamam. Dosa sebegini terampun hanya dengan melakukan perkara kebaikan biasa seperti berwudhuk, solat, zikir dan sebagainya lagi tanpa memerlukan taubat khusus.

Soal lagho dan lupa mengingati Allah itu soal lain. Kalau nak bercerita tentang lupa mengingati Allah ni, semua manusia tidak terlepas termasuklah para sahabat Nabi terdahulu kerana kita adalah manusia bukan malaikat. Cubalah menjadi manusia yang baik, jangan cuba menjadi malaikat.

Seorang sahabat Nabi bernama Hanzalah mengadu kepada Nabi dengan berkata: “Wahai Nabi, sesungguhnya Hanzalah telah menjadi munafiq”. Nabi berkata: (Apa maksudmu?). Kata Hanzalah: “Apabila kami berada bersama Kamu, kami ingat kepada Akhirat, tetapi apabila kami pulang bersama keluarga, anak-anak, dan harta kami, kami banyak lupa”. Sabda Nabi: (Demi Allah yang diriku dalam kekuasaanNya, kalau kamu terus kekal seperti hal kamu ketika bersamaku, nescaya malaikat akan berjabat tangan dengan kamu di bilik kamu dan jalan-jalan. Tetapi Hanzalah, ada masa masanya). Riwayat Imam Muslim (8/95, no 4937)

6) Jika kita rindu seseorang ajnabi kerana kita memang couple dengan dia, tak kiralah berjumpa atau tidak, itu dikira zina hati. Kalau tak couple, tapi mungkin minat, dan lama-lama jadi rindu jika tak berjumpa, pada mulanya fitrah, tetapi apabila tak dikawal, dielak, tak mujahadah, itu boleh menjadi zina hati.

Komen saya: Pulak dah, ada beza pula ya antara yang bercouple dengan tak bercouple. Jawapan yang langsung tiada asas ilmu, sekadar mengagak-agak.

7) Saya selalu digosip kawan-kawan dengan seseorang, bila nama orang tu disebut-sebut, saya akan teringat kepada dia dan ini menyebabkan saya terpalit dengan dosa zina hati kerana mengingati seseorang yang bukan mahram dengan saya. Astaghfirullah, moga-moga Allah mengampuni dosa saya.

Komen saya: Oh ya ke, kalau begitu lepas ni janganlah ingat langsung kepada sesiapa yang bukan mahram anda. Sepupu anda, cikgu anda, pak guard sekolah anda, perdana menteri Negara anda, kerana itu semua bukan mahram anda tu. Zina hati tu… Hai, mudah-mudah saja membuat hukum ya.

8) Nak tanya sekejap. Zina hati tu dikira apabila kita teringat seseorang yg berlainan jantina untuk seketika atau teringat selalu hingga termenung?

Menjawablah seorang rakannya: “Teringat seketika atau selalu tetap salah. Sebab kita ni kena selalu ingat kepada ALLAH”.

Komen saya: Hohohoho…I’m speechless. Tak sangka, ada juga jawapan sebegini. Teringat seketika pun tak boleh ya, kena selalu ingat Allah sepanjang masa 100 peratus ya. Macam tu sahabat Nabi pun kalah dengan awak. Hebat betul awak ya, sama taraf dengan malaikat.

Dalam Al-Qur’an pun Allah tak suruh kita ingat kepadaNya sentiasa kerana itu adalah perkara yang mustahil dan ulama menyebut bahawa Allah tidak sekali-kali membebankan manusia dengan perkara yang mustahil untuk dilakukan.

Sebab itu, Allah hanya menyuruh kita supaya banyak ingat kepadaNya, bukan selalu ingat kepadaNya. Firman Allah dalam Surah Al-Ahzab, ayat ke-41:

((يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْراً كَثِيراً))

Maksudnya: ((Wahai orang-orang yang beriman, ingatilah Allah dengan ingatan yang banyak)).

9) Sekarang ni saya tengah buntu. Saya sekarang bercinta dengan seseorang. Tapi kami mahukan perhubungan kami diredhai Allah. Tetapi baru-baru ni saya ada baca nota yang mengatakan bercinta adalah haram dalam Islam. Betul ke? bercinta juga mendekatkan diri kepada zina iaitu zina hati. merindui dan mengingati antara satu sama lain. Jadi, apakah yg perlu saya buat?

Maka berfatwalah seorang rakannya: “Bercinta tu memang haram. Bila dah bercinta kita selalu rindu, kadang-kadang ingat kat dia dan macam-macam lagi. Itulah yang dinamakan zina hati. Sebab itu, bercintalah selepas kawin.

Komen saya: Sama juga masalah dengan mereka yang sebelum ni. Keliru dengan maksud bercinta, lepas tu tak memahami erti zina hati.

Adapun soal bercinta sebelum atau selepas kahwin, kalau dimaksudkan dengan perasaan cinta, maka bagi saya perasaan cinta itu perlu ada sebelum kahwin bukan selepas kahwin, manakala aktiviti percintaan itulah yang dilakukan selepas kahwin. Sebab itu Nabi menyuruh sahabatnya kalau nak melamar perempuan tu tengok dulu, supaya timbul perasaan cinta dalam hati. Kalau setelah melihat tapi tidak timbul rasa cinta dan berkenan tu, maka cari yang lain.

9) Bagi saya memang zina hati susah utk dihindari terutama zaman sekarang. Lebih-lebih lagi zaman teknologi sekarang. Walaupun dengan bermesej, boleh diragukan kita buat zina tangan. Itu zina tangan, kalau dah zina luaran, macam mana pula dalaman?

Komen saya: Astaghfirullah, pandangan yang penuh dengan ta’annut dan tasyaddud. Gagal dalam memahami maksud zina hati dan zina kecil yang lain. Bermesej di telefon itu zina tangan?? Kalau anda bermesej mengajak kepada persetubuhan, semestinya itu zina tangan, tapi kalau sekadar bertegur sapa pun nak dilabelkan sebagai zina, maka anda tersasar jauh.

Memang berhubung antara lelaki dan perempuan hanya perlu apabila ada keperluan. Tapi kalau tiada keperluan dan sekadar menggatal, tidak boleh sewenang-wenangnya dengan mudah mengkategorikan hal itu dalam bab zina tangan tetapi dikategorikan dalam bab buat perkara lagho tak berfaedah.

Sudahlah gagal memahami maksud zina-zina kecil tu, gagal pula membezakan antara mereka yang melakukan zina kecil dengan mereka yang melakukan perkara-perkara lagho tak berfaedah.

10) Zina hati sebenarnya apabila kita mengingati seseorang secara berlebih-lebihan.

Komen saya: Fahaman yang juga tersasar.

11) Macam mana kalau teringatkan lelaki yang kita hanya pernah berjumpa dengannya dalam mimpi, tapi kita tak kenal pun kat alam nyata ni, kira zina hati juga ke?

Komen saya: Lihat bagaimana kegagalan memahami maksud zina hati menyebabkan timbulnya soalan-soalan yang tak sepatutnya timbul.

12) Saya pun ada juga zina hati ni kerana teringatkan kawan lelaki. Nak buat macam mana nobody's perfect except our prophet. Tapi macam yang dah dinasihatkan oleh rakan supaya bila teringatkan seseorang (si dia) kita hendaklah membaca Al-fatihah supaya kita ingat dia kerana Allah.

Komen saya: Gagal dalam memahami zina hati dan mengenal pasti penyakit sebenar, kemudian cuba mereka-reka ubat sendiri. Baca Al-fatihah supaya kita ingat dia kerana Allah??? Hehe…lucu juga dengan petua yang diberikan.

13) Memang susah nak hindari zina hati. Susah sangat. Apabila teringatkan si dia, susah nak lupakan. Tapi nak tanya ni, apa dosanya kalau kita buat orang lain zina hati? Contohnya: Kita buat orang lain berkenan kat kita.

Komen saya: Masih juga tak faham-faham dengan maksud zina hati.

14) Zina hati yang paling ketara dalam jiwa remaja zaman sekarang adalah kamu merindui si dia, kamu sentiasa terbayang si dia, kamu tak dating, tak jumpa dgn si dia, tak keluar makan-makan, tapi kamu masih terbayang pada si dia. Bukti yang paling ketara, inbox kamu penuh dgn mesej si dia. Bayangkan sahaja, seorang remaja yg cukup komited dgn dakwah tetapi mereka bercinta. Bayangkan presiden BADAR kat sekolah bercinta. Ya Allah! tak dating, tak keluar makan-makan, tak berutus surat, tapi saling berbalas mesej dengan beralasankan "Eh takpe, aku hantar mesej pasal hadis la kat dia. Saling nasihat menasihati". Astaghfirullah, itulah contoh-contoh zina hati. Nama pun hati, mesti la dalam hati. Betul tak?

Komen saya: Tak betul langsung. Saudara, itu tidak termasuk dalam bab zina hati. Itu gedik dan mengada-ngada termasuk dalam bab buat perkara-perkara tak berfaedah atau lagha. Saya lebih suka mengistilahkan percintaan sebegitu sebagai percintaan yang “poyo”. Percintaan pra-matang remaja baru nak up.

Sabda Nabi: (Antara keelokan Islam seseorang itu, dia meninggalkan apa yang tak patut baginya). Diriwayatkan oleh Imam Tirmizi (4/558, no 2317) dan dia berkata: Gharib. Juga diriwayatkan oleh Ibnu Majah (2/1315, no 3976) dan Ibnu Hibban dalam kitab Sahihnya (1/466, no 229).

14) Sebenarnya, saya ada satu soalan. Begini, seorang lelaki amat menyayangi seorang perempuan bukan mahram ini, tetapi dia tidak merinduinya. Adakah ini tergolong dalam zina hati juga? Sebab saya masih tak berapa jelas dengan maksud zina hati.

Komen saya: Apabila gagal untuk memahami zina hati dengan baik, kemudian dimomokkan pula dengan fahaman-fahaman yang salah tentang zina hati, maka diri sendiri mencari jalan keluar dengan mereka-reka perkara yang tak masuk akal. Seorang kekasih menyintai kekasihnya, tetapi mereka tidak rindu, adakah ini juga termasuk dalam zina hati? Ahaha…

Tolonglah fahami maksud zina hati itu dengan baik, perasaan cinta antara kekasih dengan kekasihnya tidak dikira zina hati, juga perasaan rindu. Kalaupun perasaan cinta dan rindu itu melampaui batas, itu tidak termasuk dalam bab zina hati, itu termasuk dalam bab berlebih-lebih dalam perkara-perkara yang harus. Yang menjadi zina hati adalah perasaan atau keinginan hati untuk melakukan dosa zina iaitu bersetubuh dengan kekasih tersebut. Faham!!!

15) Saya takut diri saya terjebak dengan “zina hati” apabila saya teringat pasal si dia. Biasanya, saya akan membayangkan saat-saat kami berjumpa, kata-kata dia dan kadang-kadang saya macam berangan-angan berumah tangga dengan dia. Selalu terbayang dalam fikiran saya, kehidupan kami sebagai suami isteri contohnya, saya masak untuk dia, bermesra dengan anak-anak dan sebagainya. Itu memang selalu saya fikirkan. Adakah itu salah satu dari “zina hati”? Saya juga tak boleh kawal perasaan rindu setelah kami berjauhan. Perasaan tu la yang buat saya lalai sedikit sebanyak. Saya cuba tenangkan fikiran saya dengan solat sunat, baca Al-Quran tapi tu tak kekal lama.

Komen saya: Amboi-amboi, jauhnya akak berkhayal. Itu bukan zina hati tu kak, itu angau namanya. A N G A U: Angau. Parah benar nampaknya tu. Walaupun bukan termasuk dalam zina hati, tetapi eloklah dielakkan perkara-perkara lagho sebegitu, sibukkan diri dengan perkara-perkara berfaedah, jangan sampai terbuang masa kerana berkhayal.

16) Saya telah mengambil keputusan meninggalkan pasangan saya kerana saya tahu ianya sesuatu yang bertentangan dengan Islam. Dan alhamdulillah saya juga telah mengambil langkah dengan bernikah dengan seorang gadis melalui cara yang lebih baik iaitu melalui pernikahan secara Islamik.

Komen saya: Astaghfirullah, bercinta dengan seorang gadis, kemudian merasakan perkara itu sebagai salah lalu memutuskan hubungan. Kemudian mengambil langkah penyelesaian dengan berkahwin dengan gadis lain?

Mengapalah “terlampau cerdik” sampai ke tahap ini??? Kalaupun anda merasakan hubungan anda itu salah dan berdosa, apa yang anda perlu lakukan adalah bertaubat daripada dosa dan membaiki dosa tersebut.

Firman Allah dalam Surah Al-Ma’idah, ayat ke-39.

((فَمَنْ تَابَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ظُلْمِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِ))

Maksudnya: ((Sesiapa yang bertaubat selepas kezaliman yang dilakukan dan membaiki kesilapannya maka sesungguhnya Allah akan mengampunkan dosa ke atasnya)).

Seorang pencuri, apabila sedar dan insaf atas dosa yang dibuat, maka dia perlu bertaubat daripada dosa mencuri tersebut, dan membaiki dosa tersebut dengan memulangkan kembali segala barang-barang yang dicuri.

Seorang lelaki yang bercinta dengan seorang perempuan sehingga terjebak ke dalam perkara-perkara dosa, apabila sedar dan insaf perlulah bertaubat daripada dosa yang dilakukan, dan membaiki dosa tersebut. Bagaimana untuk membaiki dosa tersebut? Iaitulah dengan mengahwini perempuan itu.

MANHAJ DALAM MEMAHAMI AGAMA

Tidak dinafikan, adakalanya mereka yang baru menceburkan diri dalam bidang dakwah atau mereka yang baru menemui jalan keinsafan, mereka mempunyai semangat yang meluap-luap berjuang untuk Islam. Tapi masalahanya semangat yang meluap-luap tanpa latar belakang ilmu yang kuat boleh menyebabkan perjuangan yang dibawa itu merosakkan lebih daripada membaiki.

Semua tak boleh, itu zina, ini zina, itu haram, ini haram sehingga menyempitkan ajaran Islam yang luas dan membesar-besarkan perkara lebih daripada skop asalnya.

Walhal manhaj dakwah yang sebenarnya adalah manhaj berasaskan وسطية /wasatiyyah (pertengahan). Tidak dinafikan, kalau orang itu dilihat mempermudah-mudahkan urusan agama maka kita perlu memberikan peringatan keras kepada mereka. Sebaliknya pula kalau orang itu dilihat terlalu memayah-mayahkan agama maka kita perlu memudahkannya bagi mereka. Namun, semua itu perlu dilakukan atas dasar ilmu. Bukan sewenang-wenangnya.

Sebagai contoh, apabila wujud sebahagian daripada sahabat Nabi mempermudah-mudahkan urusan berwudhuk sehingga tidak meratakan air ke tempat-tempat yang sepatutnya, maka Nabi memberikan amaran keras kepada mereka berupa seksaan api neraka.

Sebaliknya apabila ada pula sebahagian sahabat yang memayah-mayahkan urusan berwudhuk sehingga membasuh anggota wudhuk secara berlebihan, maka Nabi berkata bahawa basuhan wudhuk itu hanya tiga kali. Andainya masih wujud keraguan dalam hati tidak rata, maka usah dilayan, itu hanya was-was syaitan.

Caranya adalah bersikap keras kepada mereka yang nampak mempermudah-mudahkan agama, dan bermudah-mudah bagi mereka yang nampak memayah-mayahkan agama. Tetapi perlu diletakkan dalam kepala bahawa tujuan akhirnya adalah supaya kedua-dua golongan tersebut kembali kepada kesederhanaan dalam beragama.

Kata Imam Syatibi: Andai kamu melihat kepada keseluruhan syariat maka engkau akan dapati syariat itu cenderung kepada pertengahan. Andai kamu melihat ada kecenderungan kepada sisi terlampau memudahkan atau sisi terlampau menyusahkan maka itu bagi berhadapan dengan lawannya daripada sisi lain.

Sisi memayahkan (kebanyakannya pada menakutkan, menggerunkan, melarang) didatangkan bagi berdepan dengan mereka yang cenderung mempermudahkan agama.

Sisi memudahkan (kebanyakannya pada pengharapan, galakan, dan rukhsah kemudahan) didatangkan bagi mereka yang cenderung memayahkan agama.

Kalau tiada masalah pada kedua-duanya maka aku melihat pertengahan itu lebih utama, dan jalan kesederhanaan itu jelas, dan itulah kaedah asal yang menjadi rujukan dan pusat yang menjadi tempat pergantungan”. (Rujuk Kitab Al-Muwafaqat oleh Imam Syatibi, jilid 2 , m/s 286, cetakan Dar Ibni Affan)

Janganlah terlampau mempermudahkan dan jangan terlampau menyusahkan. Ambil jalan pertengahan. Untuk pesakit darah tinggi, berikan ubat yang menurunkan kadar tekanan darahnya kepada kadar tekanan normal. Pesakit darah rendah pula, berikan ubat yang meninggikan kadar tekanan darahnya kepada kadar tekanan tahap normal. Apa yang penting adalah memastikan kenormalan tekanan darahnya.

Akhir kata, semoga segala penjelasan itu dapat dicerna dengan baik. Andai timbul sebarang persoalan tak faham lagi berkenaan zina hati, maka bak kata rakan saya: “Sila hantukkan kepala anda ke dinding”….hehe sekadar bergurau. Jangan lagi membesarkan isu lebih daripada skop yang sepatutnya.

Sememangnya muhasabah diri sama ada terpalit dengan dosa atau tidak itu memang sesuatu yang bagus. Tapi men’dosa’kan diri dengan perkara yang bukan dosa itu bukan daripada ajaran agama, itu adalah ta’annut dan tasyaddud yang ditegah dalam beragama.

Islam tidak datang untuk menjadi musuh kepada naluri dan perasaan manusia tetapi untuk memberikan pedoman dan tunjuk ajar supaya manusia dapat mengawal naluri dan perasaannya ke arah kebaikan. Dengan itu dapatlah kita menjadi manusia yang baik bukan menjadi malaikat yang baik

on 14th July marked the end of Harry Potter legacy.
i watched it first with my family on 16th July which is also my parent's 23rd anniversary.

later, on 20th July, i watched it again with my best friends, Sarah, and Shahira. Intan join us later during lunch time. we also met Amirfiq. watching Harry Potter grows from the first movie till the last one, makes me feel nostalgic about how i started befriended with my best friend. i was 11 when i moved to KL and started school at SK Desa Pandan which is the best school i ever attend to :D

the Harry Potter journey has ended but the life for most of us goes on. thanks JK Rowling and Harry Potter for the magical childhood and you will be missed :')

i would like to thank firstly to Allah for allow me to live in this world for the past 20 years. next, i would like to thank my parents for brought me into this world and i love you guys so much! unlike any other teenagers, i rarely got into fight with any of you and i'm thankful for that. i know i'm blessed with people around me who love me for who i am even at time i can be quite IRRITATING!

i hide my birthday on facebook for the first 12 hours and i'm glad that some of my friends still remember my birthday even if it is confusing, sometimes(as they claimed) REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE IT :) afterwards, when i show my birthday again on the event, my wall had been bombarded with a total of 189 birthday wishes.

special thank you for my sister (for calling from her hostel, twice!) ,mak(who take care of me since i was little, for remembering my birthday for all these years even after i left penang in 2001) my best friends-quiah(who willing to call all the way from Brisbane, Australia), yana zainal(who drive from her brother's house to mine, just to make me feel happy with the Happy Birthday balloon), dinda( who willing to stay up till midnight just to wish me a happy birthday), ika(who take her time off work for awhile to call me), my mentee-emyra(for the voice sms i got with her voice singing happy birthday) and so was the rest of them:amir zaheen,teacher lyn,usher,teacher rosni,nasa,dal,ayu,sarah,julia,aiza,lyn, iffah, ad,wanie,sob,nabilla,eman,fanie,dzul,asmah,rosuhaiza,yana anuar,zul hazmi,amru,hanim,kak dat,fatini,azzah,nabilah.

SMGM 2011

hi! how are you?
i just got back from UiTM on Sunday, after participating in Seminar Memperkasakan Generasi Muda(SMGM) 2011. this programme aimed to inspire and give exposure to Form 5 and 6 students from Pekan, Pahang and Sembrong, Johore of the University's life.

almost 200 mentors were involved in this programme including Yana Zainal and I :) we packed our things and went to UiTM on June 28th as we are unaware of the change of date for mentor's registration :P
the next day, we went for briefing at Dewan Makan Mawar(DMM) with the MPP and later at night with the organiser. our seminar took place until 30th.

on the 1st July, we got our mentee :) the first person that came to me is Azzah, followed by Ayu, Ira, Zi Ying and lastly, Nabilah. we settled into 3 rooms on the 9th floor before going to DSB at night to hear talk from the organiser

the next day, we had separate programme. the mentees with their workshop and the mentor with career talk. now i know how to tackle interview and to write proper resume :) at night, the mentors have BBQ and we had a GREAT time together.

on the last day of SMGM is one of the memorable day as we morning walk to DSB from Mawar :P talking about burning calories! upon arriving at DSB, we had rehearsal and sang Faizal Tahir's Gemuruh. after lunch, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussien arrived and he said that we are the LOUDEST crowd he had ever heard cheering upon his arrival :D

this programme is a voluntary programme so tick off one point from my TO-DO holiday's list :) i've volunteered! hahaha....anyway, this programme had taught me a lot than it pissed me off. so, i should be thankful for been given this opportunity to run this programme as a mentor. i even meet new friends from other faculty. they are shikin, lyana (electrical engineering), asmah (accountancy), faa, nisa and kak pija (medicine), kak wideeya (law) and many more.

in conclusion, this programme had serve its' theme, "Antara kita terpisah tiada" and i wish there is more time to be spent with my mentee to really connect with them :) I regret NOTHING!anyway, you can see the picture on my FB under album SMGM 2011.

ladies and gentleman,

meet my dad.

he is a very strict man especially when it comes to education. boy, does he goes easy on us? NO WAY!

i'm sure he only wants the best for both my sister and i. we don't understand it then but now we do.

he taught us to always have back-up plans. he taught us about security.

besides that, he likes to challenge us into doing things we don't want to do(but we end up doing it anyway!)

like what he did yesterday to me, he asked me to ride a motorcycle. i never ride a motorbike and never intended to ride it on my own as i almost fall when riding it at the age of 10. after few attempts, i manage to ride motorbike smoothly and i feel pretty proud of myself :P hahaha ;D

i learned a lot from my dad. from his childhood's stories to the way he controls his cool and care for family :)

i love him and he will always be the first man i love ;D

i was watching WATER FOR ELEPHANT when i wrote my post today.
once, i always wanted to watch circus since i was a kid especially the Royal London Circus. now, there's not much circus being held and I thank God for that, as it deprived the animal rights.

in the movie which sets in 1930 era, rob pattinson's character named Jacob was the care-taker of Rosie(the elephant) and he secretly in love with Marlena Rosenbluth(reese witherspoon) who was the circus performer but she was married to the circus owner,August (christoph waltz).jacob who was veterinary student landed on the Benzini brothers' circus train after his parents died.

since Rosie is the new animal to the circus replacing Marlena's horse which died from sickness. she was trained forcefully and with no mercy by August which brought tears to my eyes. i couldn't imagine how much the price of violence against circus animal for such entertainment :'(

animals are no differ from human when it comes to emotional aspect.
they can feel fear, anger and love alike. therefore, we should treat animals with care because it is our responsibility :)

today is 16th May which marked the celebration of teacher's day throughout the WORLD!

i would like to grab this opportunity to thank all my teachers especially:-

Pn Rihanna(SKBayan Baru)- I'm not sure whether the name is the right spelling but she was my standard 1 teacher who makes me feel happy to go to school because being the tallest girl in the class, meaning people afraid to befriended you. HAHAHA.... she asked me to performed with the rest of my classmates during Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang and after that, i have friend.

Encik Anuar(SKBB)-he is unusually funny guy and we are motivated to get stamped on math's homework as he use cartoon stamp like hello kitty, garfield, Good Job! stamp etc.

My Standard 4 English teacher(Jason's mom,SKBB)- sorry teacher i don't remember your name. she trust me to lead the dance performance to the song, obladi oblada(yes, such song exist!) thank you teacher!

Sir Rizatun Omar(SK Desa Pandan)-he is my class teacher in standard 5 and he taught us english and art. i never had more interest in art until Sir Rizatun taught me :P

Cikgu Nazri(SKDP)-he is the reason why i got A for my Maths. he is strict when it comes to math and funny when dealing with students.

Ustaz Misron(SKDP)-one of the coolest Ustaz i ever known, enough said.

Pn Khalilah(SKDP)-she is the best Headmistress anyone could asked for.

Pn Jagtar(SMK Aminuddin Baki)-she taught me english for 2 years and then left to teach in Sarawak

Pn Foo(SAB)-she is the reason we frown during PJ's lesson. but she's actually nice person except when you are in gym and need to be rush, she would blow her whistle until you wished she stops doing that :P way of escape-DISCIPLINE

Pn Jugdeep(SAB)-she trust me :) hahaha....she make the english class fun at the same time serious.

Pn Kalaivani(SAB)-she tell the story of history like she was there at the time+gossips about students during club meetings :D

Pn Noorazmah(SAB)-my BM teacher and editorial board director.

Miss Mastura(SAB)-she is indeed the COOLEST TEACHER IN SAB! she pull me into choral speaking and i enjoyed it :)

Madam Aini(UiTM Kuantan)-she taught me bel 120 and very motherly.

Mr Syahril(UiTM Kuantan)-he makes me believe law is FUN

hi! how are you?
mother's day is just around the corner and i believe everyday is a good day to show your mother that you love her. however, it's easier said than done.

how many times you said "i love you" to your mom? is it the same amount as you said to your bf/gf?
saying i love you, mom is not sissy or makes you a mommy's boy. you are your mommy's boy no matter how old you are :P try call her once a week or better, everyday even if the call only lasted for few minutes.

do you take time to help your mom doing house chores? and willing to sacrifice your time gossiping, social networking etc to help your mom? we often take for granted the role of our mother that we tend to forgets she's human too who need rest. maybe we can help her washing the dishes, do the laundry or mop the floor.

do you speak to your mother politely and do you obey her advice? Mom knows best as they only want the best for their children and if you disagree with her opinion, just tell her politely why you disagree and i'm sure she would understand , eventually. besides, it's your life and people around you can only guide you making sure you are in the right path. the choice of what kind of life you are going to live is your responsibility.

small acts like these, we often overlooked at. instead we focused on, Mother's Day to do something special to your mom like making breakfast to her, buy present etc. thus, it raise question to me that "do we only treat our mother nice on Mother's Day?" she spent the rest of her life taking care of her and we should spent more than 24 hours a year looking after her and make her happy.

love your mother everyday and tell her how special she is. Mother's Day is just a token to celebrate mothers around the world.

if you think this entry about the movie, you are correct (since when i worked as the film critic?)

no matter, there's no harm for me doing it even for FREE :p

anyway, this movie is a MUST WATCH even for JB-haters

why should i waste my money watching a 16 year-old kid movie?

well, it's a glimpse of what a real 3D movie should look like as most of the 3D movie i went to cannot beat the quality of JB's movie. you won't feel dizzy after watching it...fyi i watched the movie at pavillion, kl, if any other ciniema's cause you headaches after watching this movie, i'm sorry

next it is the best concert movie i've watched. it can stand side to side with MJ's This is It movie as it is entertaining and you feel like you are one of the crowd there.

JB's fan does not come from little kids and teenagers alone as when i watched the movie last week, i'm the youngest person in the cinema hall-there's a family, an adult couple and a chinese guy. NO KIDS at all when i watched the movie(which is surprising!)

the movie is truly inspriring as it taught us to never stop achieving our dream even if there's a lot of obstacles. i know it's a basic lessons in life but how many movie actually make us see that when you believe, you can succeed provided that you WORK HARD towards it.

i remember one quote from the movie when JB was disappointed as he has to cancelled one of his concert before the real concert at Madison Square Garden and like any other teenagers who want a normal life and his vocal teacher told him that,

"you give up normal to come to this point. this is your new normal. are you in it?"

i feel like screaming!!!! it makes me think for a moment, if a sixteen years old kid can live up his dreams? why can't i? i will be facing my final examination soon and i pray for the best.
