Pupillage 101-Borang 1 & 2

Hi! how are you?
it's been a while since my last post. i did try to update during my trip to Miri once but something when wrong and it remained in the draft *sigh*

Back to the story...
The reason why I am writing this post is because of Azilia Zahara, well...I actually thought about blogging about it before she asked me too but i am too lazy or busy to do it :p

So it begins~
On the 9th April, I got a place in a firm as a pupil or most people called it chambering student or chambie for short. However, I only file my Borang 1 and 2 a week later (fyi, you can file the two forms immediately after you got a place in the firm)

I set my journey early on the 16th April to High Court of Malaya in Jalan Duta. It's near MATRADE building and the landmark before you reached there is a Mosque. The visitor's parking is FREE and please come as early as you can.

First things first, make sure you got the documents ready and wear black and white suit. you can get the forms from Bar Council for RM 5.30. Make extra copies of the forms just in case you make a mistake. Fill in the forms using BLACK INK GEL PEN and the guidelines in filing those forms can be see here

make sure you have Certified True Copies (CTC) by either Advocate & Solicitor (besides your Master) or Senior Assistant Registrar for these documents:-

1. NRIC
2. Birth Certificates
3. Release Letter from University (because I did my chamber before convocation day, not sure if the document still applicable after convo, please check with respective State Bar)

and you need your Master's profile which you can print out from Malaysian Bar here
type in your Master's name, click it and print. this one no need for CTC.

as for your Affidavit Borang 1, you can either stamped with the Commissioner of Oath beforehand or you can get it stamped at the Commissioner of Oath at the court for RM 4. the Commissioner of Oath counter is at the left wing from the entrance, together with Kaunter Bayaran. the layout of the court is here (in case you got lost and everybody is too busy to entertain you or do not understand what are you searching for) Thank you Selangor Bar :)

moving on with the story at the court...

First thing first, get Service Bureau form from any counter at e-filing counter at the right wing of the entrance and fill it in while you go to check your documents at Rayuan Kuasa-Kuasa Khas (RKKK) counter situated above Commissioner of Oath's counter, just use the fancy stairs nearby. the counter lady/guy will check whether your documents are in order or not.

then go back to e-filing counter downstairs, get a number from the machine and wait for your number to be called. then pay RM 50 for Service Bureau at the payment machine, the machine is white in colour and located at the middle of the counters (looks like the number machine except it has money slot)

next, wait for your number to be called for the documents to be scan into the e-filing system.

after that, wait for invoice to get your case number and make payment of RM 192 at Kaunter Bayaran at the left wing from the entrance. take a number,make payment and go back to the same or next invoice counter (Counter 17 or 18) for acknowledgement from the counter lady/guy.

then,head over to RKKK and the counter lady/guy will ask you to fill in particulars like your petition numbers and request you to make thirty-two (32) copies of Borang 2 and four (4) copies of Borang 1 & 2 @.@

use the emergency stairs besides the lift or you can take the lift to basement and make your way to cafeteria (not to eat but to photocopy those documents at the bookstore (p/s: just said you want to photocopy documents for chambering, the shopkeeper will know what to do) cost RM 12) you can eat while waiting~OMNOMNOM

take the documents back to RKKK and the 32 copies will be given to RKKK to be posted at the courts around Malaysia and the 4 copies, you have to served one each to:-

1. Malaysian Bar Council
2. Attorney General Chambers at Precint 4, Putrajaya
3.  State Bar

Remember to get acknowledgement from all three bodies at the back of the original copy of your Borang 1 & 2

once everything is settled, you can make Afidavit Penyampaian  which you can refer to KL Bar Pupillage Guidelines here at page 57. Thank you KL Bar :)

Hi! How are you?
Last weekend is the cny holiday and I went to Miri together with my parents.
Happy lunar new year to those who celebrating :)

This is the first time I went to Miri and second time to Sarawak. I've been to Limbang before to avoid overstay in Brunei :p

First place that we went after reaching miri is Petroleum Museum and the Grand Old Lady. Yes, it's a museum. We took photos and read some history about the petroleum industry in Miri which dated back during Charles Brooke years of ruling Sarawak.

By the way, the Grand Old Lady is not a potrait of an old lady but it is a petroleum structure building. Just FYI.

It's been ages since I last blogged.
I enrolled myself for Bachelor of Law (LLB) in 2014 and today is the results day. I am graduating! Good bye law school.

If I am to summarize llb in one word, I would say it is a life-changing experience.

Alhamdulillah, 14th February 2014 marked the day I end my journey as BLS student. As much as I want to celebrate, a part of me feels empty and sad because some of my friends didn't get a chance to go through LLB with me in March 2014 .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.  I'm going to missed them terribly and LLB journey will not be the same without them~ huhuhu

LLB or Bachelor of Law is going to be a whole different games altogether. We will be challenged mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Only the strong ones can survived and I hope Allah give me and my friends strength to endure one year of LLB and survive it in 2015. Insya-Allah. Do pray for us and in return, here's a hugging emoticon for you (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ

Surprise, Surprise!

hi! how are you?

on the 30th May, yana and i sort of plan a 'surprise' birthday party celebration for fanie, fana &nabila
it failed :(

yes, i'm that terrible party planner -.-''
fanie and fana caught me buying drinks and ice for the 'surprise' party
and one more thing, i never drive to Bukit Cherakah before, so i asked Fanie to show me the way.. pfffttt...

~so much for the birthday surprise celebration~

however, things change when we got there. we have two unexpected surprises!

the first surprise is when we missed the pitstop at Taman Cendawan (where we agree to meet Yana, Hanim&Nabila) while riding the trem and decided to stop at Taman Haiwan which is almost/ more than 1 km away from Taman Cendawan! *sigh*

what do we do? we walk...yes, with the Shah Alam's hot temperature, we walk to Taman Cendawan while carrying the drinks and ice =.='' and yana keep calling me asking 'where we are' since it took us forever to get there...
since all three of us, Fanie, Fana and I are hungry, we walked at a slow pace. Zureen walking slow? well, i have to wait for the twins, didn't i? i slow down plus i'm carrying the heavy bag filled with drinks and ice.

upon reaching there, I asked Fanie and Fana to be blindfolded even though they already know about the surprise :P i held their hands and lead the way into Taman Cendawan before they got POWDER ATTACK and we sang them a 'Happy Birthday' song.

we listen to Yana, Hanim and Nabila's story about the monkeys attacking them twice while they were trying to set up the party before we get there. it was thrilling!

so, are you ready for the second surprise? aye aye captain! 

the monkey came. one monkey..RELAX...two monkey..three monkey...baby monkey...mummy monkey...teenage monkey...a gang of monkeys...time to FREAK OUT! we keep guards and confront the monkeys. we throw water, ice, and yes, Yana's tripod was broken as she used it to hit the ground to scare the monkey while trying to protect the cake.  Fanie couldn't move and laugh to the whole scene -.-''

i chase out the monkey like a cat. how? i bend my knees, look as if i'm going to attack them, make fierce face and said NO!  guess what? IT WORKS! the monkeys keep their distance and they remind me of Simba, the ungrateful&uninvited cat at my home.

after everything is packed, we walk fast to the wakaf in front of Taman Cendawan. while waiting for the trem, the monkeys came attacking us at the Wakaf! IT WAS SCARY and if the trem did not come in time, i'm sure we will run saving our lives from the monkeys~ lucky us!

Alhamdulillah, we are safe and luckily nobody got hurt except for Yana's tripod :( we headed back to Shah Alam and continue celebrating (or the correct term would be eating) the picnic foods at Yana's crib while watching movies.

the monkeys remind me of my experience in Bukit Cherakah 11 years ago when i participate in English Camp together with Syazana. monkey attack as well. i will tell the story later, if i still remember :p

upon reaching home, while whatsapp-ing with Fanie, we agree on one thing about the monkeys-they must be hungry or else they wouldn't come to us. poor monkey :( but that doesn't mean they can simply attack us like that...it was adrenaline rush experience, trying to get away from monkeys... i do hope the authority at Bukit Cherakah stop cutting too many trees or the animals will turn into cannibals. (exaggerating~)

so, it turned out to be  a SURPRISE party after all...by the monkeys....

she is a mother-a person who never stops loving and forgiving her children regardless of what the children do to her. sometimes we forgot how much a person meant to us until he/she is gone. so, i want to take this opportunity to say 'I love you, Mama' to my mom, Noormala Othman.
i may forget to call you sometimes in a day,
i may forget to tell you how much you meant to me,
sometimes i get too stubborn and don't want to listen to you,
i may have disappointed you in the past and maybe in the future.
I am sorry :(
but one thing for sure, no one can be my Mama except you.
i remember when you patiently attends to my needs when i was little,

The Story of Fourth Semester

hi! how are you?

i noticed that there is no story about my fourth semester at all in this blog.
impossible! no story at all?
relax....there is story..a lot actually but i just don't have the time or restrained from writing about it throughout the semester.
why?
no specific reason, really except the guilt to blog when you should be studying :p

so, now that the final is over and got 11 days holiday before internship program starts, let me tell you the story of my fourth semester :)

Mooting
moot as a pair with fanie where everybody else is doing it in a group of 4! how awesome is that and at the same time stressful until my floor literally cracked :p (inside jokes with fanie)
luckily we can choose only two ground. unfortunately we got the wrong issue for the last ground..hopefully the marks is okay for both of us :| miss ummi, please be nice~ and yes, my mid sem was filled with preparing appellant's bundle of authorities T.T no holiday~

Legal Research aka LRM
for LRM, i thought it is an individual works but it turn out to be a group work. so, at first, madam sheila put us in a group of 3 then she assign us to make a group of 4. the final group member-Hanim, Fanie, Wani&I :) although we got our topic straight away but we do have disagreements here and there like other groups. hopefully next semester we will be more mature in dealings with problems that comes. we still best friends though :) don't worry...whatever happens in the LRM, stays in the LRM...and the book "Family Law, Sex and Society" is the longest book i ever borrowed :D

Healthcats
so, this is basically our elective class. rather unusual to diverge from law to economics(in part 3) and now to health care law. i can't wait to see what i will choose next semester :P hahaha...so, we organized the trip to HKL. fanie is the project manager and i'm the treasurer. so, now you know why i cannot update my blog?
no matter, the trip was a success! we got to visit psychiatric and pediatric ward. only the madman can recognize the beauty of a person (another inside jokes)

Other stuffs

• the start of semester kicked off with "Sambutan Hari Raya" for the whole UiTM. in short it means-FREE FOODS! i went there with Fanie&Hanim. there we met Yana, Wani, Dora and Jue. 
•  the pressure starts to filled in even it is the first week especially when i'm late to the first lecture which is Land Law 2 @.@
• went to Yana's open house. first to arrived and last to leave (that's us!) 
• ika, fanie, hanim& wani sleepover at my house at the same time! 
• wani&dora enters mock trial the musical and #MissInterpreter aka Wani is an overnight sensation! 
• i didn't get into college though so...hitch hiker it is~
• play and try new sports with hanim-cyclinng, squash, tennis and badminton :)
• went BBQ with group c's classmates at Jannah's house. 
• hanim officially become the Mediator to fanie&i everytime we argue =.=''
• ika become the frequent visitor to my house and sleepover here ^_^ hooray!
• i found my study buddy-it's Yana :) scribble2 on the wall (inside jokes, again)
• went steamboat with Kuantan housemates after AoT paper. i'm driving! ngee~
• actively tweeting. i love twitter than fb, now :p
• paan&hannah won the lawyers vs mooters event! woot3~
• went to Dahlia, Amirul Fareez and Amir Zaheen's graduation...so proud of them :') congratulations!
• so many eat out at different venue especially when if it is with Yana :D
• try out the famous burger bakar abang burn :d
• watch late night movie with Yana, Wani&Fanie-Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2
• karaoke time with Yana, Hanim& Fanie
• discover the rooftop at AL building while searching for Madam Rohani's room
• i took a picture with group B and C~ i was invited btw by group B to joined them :p but i only joined them for official photo. 
• first time entering PTAR 1~
• most frequent visit to PTAR 2 this semester, which is a good thing :)
• i got intern at Shah Alam High Court. together with Lyn, Akmal, Ila, Kapten, Lin, Liana Azmi, Aizat&Farah.

okay, so that's basically what i remember of the fourth semester. it is the most challenging semester, yet. the pressure is felt even at the start of semester. how cruel is that? if i am to treat the fourth semester with roller coaster ride, it will be at the part when the roller coaster is slowly turning 360 degrees and rapidly came down. the feelings is like that when the semester ends. while waiting for everything to be over, it's torture but once it is over, you don't feel a thing~ 

Hopefully everything went well for everyone this semester. Happy holiday everyone and have fun doing your internship program-be it in court, IPK, Pejabat Tanah, firms and other places :)

First Wedding :)

how are you?

so september kicked off with my long-time-no-news-best friend, saidah's wedding.

the wedding took placed on 1st September 2012. the akad nikah ceremony is at 9am (which i might not be able to attend as 1) i live in shah alam and the event is in KL and 2) i just got back from my hometown in Penang at 4.30am.

first, let me tell you a story of our one-day road trip to penang.. it's 31st August and it's always been a DOUBLE celebration to my family because it is my one and only sister's birthday! woot3! so this year, we go extra miles to celebrate her birthday-that's right, we go to Penang after so many daydreaming and endless hopes, we made it :) like what my dad says "mai Penang, mai makan" which is what we did, literally. eat,eat and eat :D besides that, we visited Mak (my sis&i babysitter) and our aunty, Cik Nah. it was AWESOME! plus, when fatini&aliaa came visiting at Mak's house, we did have a lot of fun like what we used to do. fyi, i'm the eldest among them :p teehee~

the next day, my family dropped me at Saidah's house for kenduri. there i met a lot of SABians. still remember their names though (okay, i admit after haven't seen some of them for so many years, it's kinda blur to recognizes them at first instance but at least i still got their name right and some little details about them ) le proud! hahahaha :D some i only been friend with them for short times which includes the bride, Saidah whom only be my classmate in form 2 and so was Ruwaida(the korean/japanese/chinese-looking girl) who was my classmate in form 3. i have to agree with the quote " a true friend is someone who come into your life and never leaves your side" which applied to these two people :) so, high school is not that bad for me. i met these two wonderful best friend and even after lost contact for 3 years with saidah and 2 years with yda, there's no awkwardness when we met and hang out... besides the two of them, of course i met azrin(whom i thought was a true sabians but didn't realized she move to MRSM during form 4), so was most of the other guests- aisyah wahid, maryam, yda, alia. ifkar couldn't make it to saidah's wedding as he had to prepare for final exams...huhu~ good luck ikka-chan! i met kak hanim, saidah's second sis :D
we eat, laugh, catch up stories, etc until 3pm.

later,mus, yda, azrin, farid, my sis and i then went out to Wangsa Walk (it's my first time) and we karaoke together( also first time with SAB friends). it was hilarious! cannot stop laughing when we sang our hearts out to Adele's set fire to the rain, We are young and Sesuci Lebaran. yes, ladies and gentlemen, we sang a raya song :p

oh yes, before i forget; to Irfan&Saidah, hope your wedding last forever till Jannah&you guys look cute together :) Irfan, take care of my best friend, she's a great woman and for Saidah, be a good wife :D CONGRATULATIONS again! 

the weekend has been great and just hope i can fixed my sleeping pattern before the start of new semester next week @.@

Before the Break Story

hi! how are you?
so this blogpost is about last week story where we finally had our first housemate trip to PD!
HOORAY!!!!!!!!!
Alhamdulillah everything went well...we went there with two cars-Yana&Wanie...thank you very much! without you guys, there will probably be no trip <3
on 18th May, all 12 of us (Yana, Wanie, Ika, Hanim, Fanie, Mira, Ira, Jue, Dora, Ras, Aiza&I) left for Glory Beach Resort, PD! of course there is some detours here and there(yana's house>ika's house>R&R Seremban) but we still managed to arrive at glory at 2pm.
in the evening, we headed to the beach and ride banana boat. at first, i'm a bit skeptical about riding it because of my toe injury but since i'm already here, at the beach...i might as well just ride it :p fanie, hanim and aiza stay on the speed boat while the rest of us rode the banana. on the way back to the beach from the middle of the sea, fanie took over the handle and she brought us back to shores...it was a real adrenaline rush!

at night, it's barbecue time! with chef yana, ika, ira and hanim ;d the food is delicious. proof?  i ate 5 pieces of chicken ;D OM NOM NOM~

the next day, yana, hanim, dora and i went for swimming at the pool :D main air puas-puas >;D at 9.30am, dora and i together with mira and fanie went for breakfast at the coffee house. then, we see Mr Crush, the turtle and Mad Hare, the rabbit ;D

after check out at 1pm, we headed to Malacca for lunch and sight-seeing at A'Famosa. we actually walked and climbed there regardless of the hotness of Malacca on that day. my face are even burnt because of Malacca (and i thought my face will get burnt at PD instead of Malacca :p)

next story....Dinner and Etiquette aka DnE (credit to Hanim for making up this acronym)

every third semester students must attend one formal dinner as part of our Kemahiran Insaniah...and by formal, i do mean level of seriousness: infinity...we are not allowed to chit chat too much, using our forks, spoons and knife with proper manner (preferably without sound), food to mouth and not mouth to food and no picture @.@ but we did well, fortunately ;D kudos to the food servers, they are incredibly professional and efficient. our DnE took place at Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC) and we all wore black and white on that night.

we ate:

• wild mushroom soup with bread and butter for starter meal
• beef steak, mashed potato and veggies for main course 
• Crème brûlée  and coffee for dessert :d

the week been great and we had administrative law test before the break...

let's pray Allah grant us strength to endure weeks ahead until 10th July 2012 ends. All the best!!!

when i was born, i am the cry baby. she patiently look after me all day and night eventhough i'm annoying
when i am 3, she gave me a baby sister

for the first 10 years of my life, we spent time at Perpustakaan Kanak-Kanak in Penang together, on weekend
when i was 12, she organized my birthday party to all my classmates
when i was 13, i got my first mobile phone
when i was 14, the most crucial time for me, she's been my strongest supporter and my closest best friend
when i was 16, she fights for me to get into science stream class
when i was 18, she lift up my spirits and suggest that i'm pursuing law
when i was 21, i still got hugs and kisses from her

I'm Sorry, Toe :'(

hi! how are you?

on 11th Sept 2011, my whole semester changed when i got toe injury and Pusat Kesihatan (PK) UiTM seemed like my my second house in my second semester as law student.luckily i'm under Student Health's Scheme so it's FOC. Alhamdulillah :)

it took me 4 months to grow my toenails back and i thought i will never bear with this ever again as it is tedious. how wrong i've been!

this semester, i got blister on that toenails which later turn blue and started to hurt @.@ i went to PK again, and the doctor advice me to pull my newly recovery toenails, AGAIN! after thinking about the consequences, i proceed with the second-time toenail's removal. IT'S PAINFUL! worst than the first time around and i was crying with pain in front of hanim :''|

i might be a fool to go through the whole process all over again but it's the price i have to pay for being plain careless and really...REALLY need to take care of feet with EXTRA CARE. twice is enough~ i don't think i can bear the pain for the third time @.@

i considered myself lucky. i'm surrounded with positive peoples-my family and my friends. i love you guys!!! you guys really bring out the best in me...whether i like it or not :p hahaha~


now, my toe is still bandaged and i still trying my luck to get into college~
quoting Nick Vujicic " i'm living life and i'm happy" my reason for being happy? simple! i still had my toe, it's just the nail went missing and that's something that i should be thankful for.
i never realised it is important until it's in pain. i promise i'll take care of you properly this time around, toe :')

p/s: the second-year as law student has been good so far and let's hope it stays like that for the rest of semester :) Amin

this book is AWESOME!!!

it gives me more reasons why being single is the best option for me now :p hahaha~ so my kind of book

i can't believe i could finished reading it within two to three hours ;D

no matter how many times i look, i still confuse on how to spell FABULOUS#random intro

no matter, next week, i'll be continuing the journey as a second-year students in BLS. despite the fact that holiday is over, let's recap what happened during my semester break :)

the best thing about this semester break is because this little kid is around

look how small she is when she was 6 and now she's taller than me -.-''

being cranky sister, i couldn't help it but to bothers or annoyed her a lot..and i do mean A LOT :P 

we went to Universal Studio Singapore,

to A'Famosa Resort and played the highest and longest slide in Malaysia(the slide that we can oversee when we drive through the highway)

we also went to the new library in Shah Alam

and Abah bought me new watch!

oh ya, i cried when my phone hanged on the day the exam result was out and i got that fixed last week and now my phone is reborn :D so, next time, extra careful with the way you treated your phone and i'm not replacing her with anything :p 

last Tuesday i went to Uitm with Lyn, settling matters for next semester and eat the best Ayam Penyet in town! on the 29th Feb, abah, adik and i went to UKK to strengthen my college application. now, just wait and see how it goes on the 12th~

i managed to read 6 books for this semester break :)

now, let's get ready for the coming 3rd semester! WOOHOO!
